What we’ve alluded to in the past is now official: Eastern Christian School has been re-accredited by the Middle States Association for the next seven years!
The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools has recognized 150 Schools from around the World that earned top recognition. Eastern Christian School is proud to have earned this distinction.
While we were expecting the good news, it is exciting to receive the official confirmation from Middle States (here).
This recognition represents the work of a lot of people at Eastern Christian School. We go through this process every seven years in order to assess, plan, and execute our vision for the short-term future as a school.
Head of School Tom Dykhouse said, “We are thrilled to have received this recognition. It is the culmination of several years of hard work by dozens of members of our school community including students, teacher, parents, community representatives and Board members. We’re thankful for their clear vision for the future of Eastern Christian school and the way that we were able to use the accreditation process to further crystalize that vision. We remain excited about the future of our mission; a mission measured in generations, not years!”
